The best restaurant ever! If you want steak or seafood it is the best in Omaha. The atmosphere is perfect for a small shut away romantic dinner or a cozy warm gathering of family and friends. The staff is top of the line and the prices are Definately fair for the AMAZING food that can't be beat. Salad bar is very nice and plentiful options, the bread is fresh homemade perfection, and the shrimp scampi is made the way it was meant to be made. You will never want shrimp scampi anywhere else ever again because they will never add up to the experience of Brother Sebastian's delectable scampi of perfection.

I have heard about this restaurant for years but somehow had never visited. Glad I finally went. Bar area is warm and cozy- even has a fireplace and sofas to lounge on. The food was really good and reasonably priced. I had a steak and I can easily say it makes my top 5 list in Omaha. Salad bar was good- fresh with plenty of variety. Service was friendly, attentive. Food came out fast. Would definitely recommend and I'll absolutely visit again!

I had the dinner fillet, butterfly cut and medium. Everyone knows that the fillet doesn’t have the rich taste of a ribeye or New York and that is why it is often seasoned or wrapped with bacon. This one was neither. As far as the fillets that I’ve had over the years this one was rather bland. Oh it was tender and cooked properly but it wasn’t a pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere was nice though nothing to write home about. All in all, largely forgettable. I will say that the manager stopped by to make sure that we were happy with our meal, which I’m always pleased with.

The New York strip was perfect. Best steak I've ever had. Staff were very polite and accommodating.

5pm party of five. Oh so good! Princess cut prime ribs (2) and filets (3) all cooked to perfection and very tender. Sides - baked potatoes, fries and green beans perfect as well. Excellent service from our waitress.

Brother Sebastian's is, on the one hand, a classic Omaha steakhouse in the best sense of the words and on the other a unique dining experience. The Franciscan Monastery vibe combined with great food and excellent service makes for an enjoyable evening. The room lined with wooden kegs may be Omaha's closest thing to a 'wine cave'.

Cool ambiance at this steak House.Above average steaks.I liked how each room was decorated differently and was themed. The servers wear robes similar to what I'd expect monks to wear. The salad bar was fine. I don't think I'd order it on its own but it's fine if the addition doesn't cost too much ($3.75 in this case but that also is your one size) or its Included in the meal.We enjoyed the lobster bisque, filet and the prime rib very much. Their sides that I tried were very average.I was very happy at how rare I got my prime. Most places have it medium rare, but this was exceptionally rare! (Yes it's a double entendre)There was an issue with a few fruit flies congregating near the aged balsamic. I do have a picture but I didn't post them here.Parking is available outside in a shared lot.

Stopped in for a “good steak” on a business trip, and what a surprise! This was one of the BEST prime ribs I have ever had. I ordered the Queen cut, and it was still huge. Cooked to perfection, sides were great, service was amazing as well! Will definitely stop in the next time I’m in Omaha!

This is a very interesting place. The main reason I rank it a 4 star is I am a firm believer of 1st impression and when we walked in the bench where you wait was VERY stained. 😞 So was very unsure what we were walking into. The food was good didn’t really like the tasteless greenbeans. They said it was suppose to be bacon flavored but really just tasted like frozen greenbeans that had been steamed slightly. The salad bar was pleasant wasn’t a wow. Think the thing they have going for them is the rooms that have different themes, that was interesting and the staff was very nice. Would I go back?? Hmm probably not right way... there is other steak house I would like to try instead.

Wife and I went here for our 1 year anniversary after our friends told us about this place. The atmosphere is awesome. Dimmed lighting and there is a relaxed feeling about this restaurant. Our server Sarah was wonderful. Food is excellent. We ordered NY strip and it was cooked to perfection. Their salad bar is also great. It comes with any entree. We will be going back! One of the best steaks we have had. Also we made a reservation at 7p and got there way before that time and the host made sure we could get seated even though we were way early. Great experience here.

I had never been here before but we took my in-laws for dinner and it was really unique! Not what I was expecting at all. I loved the atmosphere and the wait staff was wonderful. The food was delicious, plan to take home leftovers because the portions are big!

Monk chants play upon arrival. Salad bar is basic. Steak and mashed potatoes are yummy. Great wine selection. Service was phenomenal.

This place is wonderful. Neat decor, delicious food, great service. The lobster bisque, the steak, the crab, the scallops, the salad bar; I haven't had something I didn't like. GET THE BREAD PUDDING!!! *scrumptious*

We love the way it looks and the food. Our waitress was friendly to us,at first but wasn't so friendly the longer we stayed there. Which wasn't for an unreasonable amount of time. We really enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary there though.

Questions & Answers

We are open Thanksgiving Day from 12:00pm - 7:00pm

Yes, of course.

I've seen people both ways, but I'd say it leans more toward the semi formal side.

Yes. Each kids meal is $8...includes kid sized entree, side, salad bar and drink.

I did

Yes they are.

Although their prime rib for lunch would be fantastic, they are a dinner focused destination.

Call and speak to the manager. I don't see why they wouldn't sell you a cake at a small mark up! I've done this at other restaurants.

They are not on the list of open restaurants for Christmas in the newspaper dining section.

We are closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
